How it works
Readers get free advance copies of Christian books. Authors get early readers and honest feedback. Nobody owes anybody a review.
For readers
- Join and tell us what you like. Pick genres and the content levels you're comfortable with, so we show you books that fit.
- Request a book. Some books are approved right away; for others, the author approves requests. New readers hold one book at a time, and more once they finish or leave a note on their first.
- Download your copy. You'll get a private link to an EPUB or PDF marked with your name, plus instructions for sending it to a Kindle.
- Read it, and leave a private note if you'd like. Tell the author what worked and what didn't, or point out typos. Only the author sees it.
- Review it if you want to. When the book comes out, we'll send you links to Amazon, Goodreads, and other stores where you can post an honest review, whatever you thought. Whether you do is entirely up to you, and nothing here changes either way.
For authors and publishers
- Join and get approved. We confirm you're a real author or publisher before your books go live.
- List a book. Add the cover, description, genre, content ratings, release date, and your files.
- Start a giveaway. Choose how many copies to give, for how long, and whether requests are approved automatically or by you.
- Watch it run. See requests, downloads, and the private notes readers send you.
Why there are no points or swaps
Many review sites make authors review each other's books to earn reviews of their own. Amazon treats that kind of exchange as against its rules and removes those reviews, sometimes along with the books. Here, a free copy is never traded for a review. That keeps readers' reviews honest and keeps authors on Amazon's good side.
